Logging into the new Laptop issued
In order to log into the new laptop provided to you, make sure you have talked to an IT member about adding you into the active directory. If you haven't yet please do so as soon as possible. Every teacher's email is linked to the same formula, with some rare occasions. The teacher's email should always be: First name initial, last name, @newmanacademy.org Example: Name: John Doe Email: JDoe@newmanacademy.org (When logging into a laptop, it is not required to add @newmanacademy.org, as the laptop is connected to the Newman Academy domain, meaning you can just put your first name initial and your last name) Your password will be the password provided to the I.T. team upon registration. If you have any other issues, feel free to write us a ticket and we can assist you as soon as possible!

Necessary Applications to Install on the New Teacher Laptops
When first receiving your laptop, please check to make sure these applications are installed on your laptop as these are essential for Newman. 1. Microsoft OneDrive 2. Microsoft Powerpoint 3. Microsoft Word 4. Microsoft Outlook 5. Adobe DC Reader 6. PaperCut Client 7. Google Chrome Remember to log into all the sights downloaded with the same credentials used to log into the laptop. Register for Chromebook 2023-24

How to log into BUSINESS Skyward as a Teacher
If you meant logging into STUDENT Skyward, please refer here> https://niasupport.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/18000086141 1. Before anything, please make sure you are connected to your main campus NIA wifi. If you are connected to non-Newman wifi, you can still log in, but you will not be allowed to clock in or out. 2. Go to the Newman Skyward page here: https://skyward.iscorp.com/NewmanIntAcaTXbusSTS/Session/Signin?area=Home&controller=Home&action=Index 3. Log in with your Newman Credentials and click "Sign In" 4. If Skyward does not recognize your password, click "Forgot you Username or Password" below the Sign In button. 5. Enter your Newman username and click Submit. 6. Skyward should send you a password reset email. Please check your Newman inbox and your personal email inbox. If you find the email, please follow the instructions to reset your password, then use that password to log into Skyward Business. If you do not receive a password reset email, please contact hrsupport@newmanacademy.org, give them your Newman username which did not result in a password reset email, and ask for a password reset email to be manually sent to you. Then repeat step 6. The IT Department is not authorized to change passwords in this system.

How to log into STUDENT Skyward as a Teacher

Before anything, please make sure you are connected to your main campus NIA wifi. This will allow you features that will be locked otherwise (like clocking in and out) 2. Make sure you are logged into Google Chrome. If you need help doing so, click here: https://niasupport.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/18000086300 3. Go to the Newman Student Skyward page here: https://skyward.iscorp.com/NewmanIntAcaTXStuSTS/Session/Signin?area=Home&controller=Home&action=Index 4. Scroll down and tap "Sign in with Staff Email" making sure not to click any other sign in methods If ANY error code pops up, please feel free to write an I.T. Ticket with the error present. 5. Select your view. If you are a teacher and a parent of students, you may see both family access and teacher access in your menu options. Be sure to select the one you need.

Logging into Clever as a Teacher
1. Log into your Chrome Browser with your Newman Credentials. For help, see How to sign into chrome browser 2. Go to clever.com 3. Click the icon at the top right stating "log in as a student". Then select "Teacher or Staff." 4. In the search bar, type "NIA of", and select your campus. 5: Click Log in with Google If you receive ANY errors or issues, please go to niasupport.freshservice.com and submit a I.T. Ticket with a screenshot of the issue and we will look into the problem as soon as we can. 5: Begin to use the Clever portal as usual

How to log into Google Chrome with Newman Credentials
1. Open the Chrome Browser 2. Click the user icon at the top right of the Chrome browser 3. Click "Turn On Sync" or "Add +" 4. Enter your full Newman email address, then click next, and enter your Newman password. Click next again. 5. If this is the first time you have logged into your Chrome browser, check "Add existing browsing data to managed profile." If you previously logged into the Chrome browser with a personal account, make sure the check is blank so that your personal and work/student profiles are not mixed up. Then click Continue. 6. Finally, click "Yes I'm in" on the Turn On Sync page.
